Skinner’s Brewery are proud to be supporting Shelterbox UK this year with the return of their innovative campaign, Shine for Shelterbox.
Skinner’s have supplied bottles of our ‘sunshine pale ale’, Lushingtons, for the ‘Shine Cooking Challenge’. Foodie bloggers will each receive a box filled with goodies to host their Shine feast. Lushingtons will be part of the evening’s offering along with Riverford Organics, St Eval Candles, Chocolarder and Hodmedod. These events are designed to raise awareness and vital funds for the charity.
Inspired by the charity’s LuminAID solar lights that are included in the ShelterBoxes, the Shine for ShelterBox campaign raises money to bring light and shelter to those who have lost everything.
You can play your part too – ShelterBox, is urging people across the UK to getting together with friends to enjoy candlelit feasts this November. The Cornwall-based charity, which currently has teams on the ground helping those made homeless by Hurricane Irma and Maria and those displaced by the Rohingya crisis, launched its Shine for ShelterBox winter campaign on Monday 6 November 2017.
Now in its third year, the campaign is set to be the biggest to date with over 30 pop-up candlelit events taking place in restaurants and venues across the UK – including 7 in Cornwall.
