Named after the Cornish term for sand dunes, Towans is dry hopped for a fuller flavour and crafted to deliver a clean, crisp and refreshing experience.

Taste notes

Dry-hopped during fermentation, Towans packs a powerful burst of fruity flavours and aromas that are deepened by the dense, frothy head. The malt that produces the distinctive head also imparts a wheat flavour that gradually cedes to a clean, citrus finish with a sharp, refreshing edge. A great session lager, and a perfect partner for spicy food and gourmet burgers.

Inspiration

This unique lager honours Cornwall’s coastal “towans”, or sand dunes. The Atlantic winds and tides that shaped these rugged hills also inspired our brewers as they crafted Towans’ powerful taste, refreshing aromas and foamy white head. Like Cornwall and its people, it is born of the sea and the maritime climate, and evokes the tastes, sights and mood of the region.
